To end the week with some good, old-fashioned belly laughs, head to the Magnolia Civic Center
The cast of Hee Haw is back in town and the Magnolia Civic Center is presenting them in “A Hee Haw Thanksgiving Show” Nov. 8 and 9. Tonight is the closing performance.
The group has been performing over the past 10 years to raise money for charitable causes such as the American Cancer Society Relay for Life raising well over $30,000.
This year they will benefit the Sylvia Nanney Scholarship Fund.
The popular Hee Haw characters are back, including Dr. Sam Creekmore, with music by Jeff Pipkin, Eric Holloway, Clint Crawford, Annette Hickey, Paul Adams, Jason Stewart and Bill Reid, along with the Dixie Hicks.
Tickets are $10 and can be reserved by calling the UCDA office at 534-4354.
Some tickets will be available at the box office an hour before each performance unless that night is sold out.
