ASHLAND – There will be a benefit Saturday in Ashland for a police office who is battling cancer.
Ashland Police Office Nathan Lowe has been battling Stage 3 cancer and is no longer able to work. A benefit is being held at Food Giant in Ashland from 11 - 1 p.m. Saturday, June 30 to help offset some of Lowe's mounting medical bills.
During the benefit, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available to purchase and chances are being sold on a $450 gift certificate, a Henry 22 rifle or an AR15 (picking choice).
Tickets can be picked up at the Ashland Police Department. Ashland Town Hall, Benton County Sheriff's Department, Benton County Circuit Clerk's office, or local fire departments. They can also be purchased the day of the fundraiser. Tickets are $10 apiece.
