Those who need to earn a high school equivalency credential (GED or HiSET) can do so at Itawamba Community College between now and March 31 and receive a $100 completion bonus.

Classes are available through the ICC Adult Education program in Chickasaw, Itawamba, Lee, Monroe and Pontotoc counties.

The classes provide an opportunity for students to prepare for the high school equivalency test or to learn basic skills in reading, math or writing.

There is no charge for the classes. Books and other materials are furnished.

The schedule includes:

• Chickasaw County – Houston WIN Center, Monday. Wednesday and Friday, 8 a.m.-noon and 1-4:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 1-4:30 p.m. and 5:30-8:30 p.m.;

• Itawamba County – Families First Resource Center, Tuesday and Wednesday, 4-7 p.m.;

• Lee County – Itawamba Community College-Belden, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-noon and 1-4:30 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30-8:30 p.m.; Family Resource Center (Tupelo), Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30-8:30 p.m.; Family Resource Center, Tuesday and Wednesday, 4-8 p.m.;

• Monroe County – Amory WIN Center, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-noon and 1-4:30 p.m.; and Tuesday and Thursday, 5-8 p.m.; Aberdeen Parent Center, Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-noon;

• Pontotoc County – Pontotoc WIN Center, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8 a.m.-noon and 1-4:30 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday, 5-8 p.m.
