Woodmen Life recently held a volunteer event where they cleaned up Joe Brigance Park.

HOUSTON – WoodmenLife members in Houston recently completed a Beautification/Clean-Up project as part of the organization’s Giving Together program. Sales Representative, Que Chandler, along with Regional Sales Manager, Steve Young, decided to do some work around the Joe Brigance Memorial Park.

For this project, they recruited volunteers from the community and gathered necessary supplies, like rakes and trash bags, and went to work on the clean-up. Folks were so excited to see improvements made to the park that some of them stopped to volunteer on the spot!

“WoodmenLife was built on a commitment to family, community and country, and Giving Together expands that foundation into a wider area,” said Chandler. “We are so pleased with how the project turned out and are excited to continue Giving Together in more areas of our town.”
