The City of Fulton officially kicked off the Christmas season in grand fashion with its annual Christmas parade, Monday night. Hundreds of onlookers of all ages bundled up against the frigid weather and gathered in downtown to enjoy the festivities. The parade was one of the longest in recent memory and featured marching bands, motorcycles, beauty queens, classic cars, fire trucks, dogs decked in string lights and two Santa Clauses (one had to be a decoy). Those who missed the parade need not call off Christmas in frustration; both Mantachie and Tremont will hold their parades this Saturday. Check out more parade photos on page 7A.
