For everyone wanting to improve the health of their skin, here are a few tips to keep your skin aglow:
- Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun or spending too much time in a tanning bed. Use hats, clothes and sunscreen to protect the skin. Limit exposure to sun, especially from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Wash skin daily with mild soaps. Most people do not benefit from harsh abrasives.
- Moisturize the skin to protect it from drying out. Don't forget to put moisturizers with sunscreen on the back of your hands.
- Keep as much of you covered as possible during frigidly cold weather.
