TUPELO - MidSouth Pain Treatment Center has opened a clinic in West Tupelo.
The practice founded by anesthesiologist Dr. Michael Steuer has five offices in North Mississippi and West Tennessee staffed by two physicians and 12 nurse practitioners. The Tupelo office will be staffed by nurse practitioner Stephanie Cagle.
For the past two years, the pain center saw patients in the offices of Tupelo neurologist Dr. William Oakes before opening its own clinic space in Spanish Village on South Thomas Street.
The clinic focuses on diagnosing and treating the source of the pain to provide relief and improved function. Treatments include minimally invasive epidural, spinal joint and sacroiliac joint injections and ketamine infusions.
