The Old West Restaurant Steak and Fish on Turner Road in Tupelo features a Sunday lunch buffet and dessert bar that sometimes includes the following items:

Chuck Wagon Beans

2 cups dried pinto beans

1 medium onion (chopped)

1 pound hamburger

1 tablespoon chile powder

1 small can tomato sauce

1 bell pepper (chopped)

Boil beans until tender, add chile powder, onion, pepper, tomato sauce and hamburger meat. Bring to boil again and simmer for 20 minutes.

Chocolate Cake

1 box Swiss chocolate cake mix

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup flour

1 can Eagle brand milk

1 jar caramel sauce

1 large tub whipped topping

1 Butterfinger candy bar (crushed)

Mix cake according to instructions on the box then add 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup flour. Bake until done.

Pour Eagle brand milk over cake when taken from oven. Let cool.

Pour caramel sauce over cake. Top with whipped topping and sprinkle with crushed Butterfinger.
