State health officials are investigating two cases of hepatitis A in Jackson County restaurant employees.

The cases potentially led to exposure for customers, The Mississippi State Department of Public Health said.

Two employees of Brady's Steaks and Seafood in Pascagoula were diagnosed with hepatitis A infection, WJTV-TV reported. Health officials say they worked at the restaurant while potentially infectious.

Customers who ate at the restaurant between March 1 and April 3, 2021, may have been exposed to the illness, health officials said.

There's no indication of an ongoing risk associated with the restaurant, officials said.
