Amory police officers responded to a business May 2 on Highway 278 E in reference to a subject with an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. While serving the warrant, officers made contact with Jennifer Ruth, 32, of Aberdeen. Ruth was found to be in possession of a controlled substance (meth). Bond was set at $10,000.00 by a Monroe County Justice Court judge. Ruth is currently being housed at the Monroe County Detention Center.

On May 5 during a traffic stop made by the Amory Police Department on Martin Luther King Boulevard, Jermaine McIntosh, 34, of Amory was arrested for DUI - 3rd offense, as well as other misdemeanor charges. McIntosh is currently being housed at the Amory City Jail. Bond will be set by a Monroe County Justice Court judge.

On May 4, while Amory police officers participated in a saturation patrol, Cassandra Phillips, 23, of Amory was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (ICE). Phillips’ bond was set at $5,000 by Monroe County Justice Court Judge Robert Fowlkes. Phillips is currently out on bond.
