Amory High beauty revue set for Nov. 2

AMORY – The Amory High School Beauty Revue will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

There are 29 girls and 19 boys who will be competing for the title of “Most Beautiful” and “Most Handsome.” Awards will also be given for “Mr. and Miss Congeniality,” “Most Photogenic Boy and Girl” and the “Judges’ Spirit Award.”

The girls will compete in the categories of business wear, interview and evening wear. The boys will compete in evening wear and stage personality. Participants will entertain the audience with an opening song and dance number.

Shelby Sweatt, “Most Beautiful 2012” will be singing. Also, Will Corley will be singing and dancing, Kelby Howell will be dancing and Laneisha Cooke will be singing.

The hostess for the evening will be Debbie Beddingfield. The evening is directed by Laura Gibson and the Panorama Staff. Serena Coleman will provide the dance choreography for the evening.

Tickets may be purchased from Sandy Smith in the Amory High School office, 256-5753. All tickets are reserved and are $10, with all proceeds going to the high school yearbook.

The following girls will participate in the event: Kasey Pearson, Micaela Young-Starks, La’Dorian Ezell, Allison Beasley, Leah Crosby, Jada Standifer, Anna Claire Dabbs, Yasmine Turner, Ambrek’ka Ivy, Mikeala Reeves, Kanisha Howard, Courtney Harlow, Kalyn Standifer, Megan Greenhill, Madison McCollum, Carmen Smith, Charkayla French, Anna Kathryn Carson, Samantha Atkins, Jessica Davis, Rachyl Hill, Chelsea Harlow, Jasmine Brown, Shelby Thornton, Taylor Allmond, Evangeline Adcock, Taylor Weeks, Alexis Haywood and Kailyn High.

Boys participating are Ben Watson, Mac Shelton, Trey Buskirk, Bryson Wigginton, Sam Wilkerson, Ty Young, T.J. Fields, Stan Ostrowski, Drew Huffman, Cole Robinson, Zatorious Gates, Patrick Smith, Cameron Pierce, Austin Grubbs, Kenneth Hill, Drake Wallace and Ja’Monte Pack.
