AMORY – An Amory High School teacher was arrested but authorities have not shared the charges. Mississippi Attorney General’s Office Director of Communications Colby Jordan confirmed an arrest was made.

“Since it’s an open investigation, we cannot give any additional details at this point,” she said.

Toshemie Wilson was the teacher arrested.

Amory School District Superintendent Ken Byars could not give any information, given the matter deals with personnel.
