A curfew will be in effect from 8 p.m. on Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday for the Hamilton area and other areas impacted by Saturday night's severe storms. Monroe County Emergency Management Agency Director Donna Sanderson said residents in these areas will be able to leave to go to work during these hours but will not be able to get back in until the curfew is lifted.

Sanderson also said schools within the Monroe County School District will be closed Monday. Aberdeen and Amory school districts, however, will have classes.
