With a pair of crucial Division 1-1A games coming up to determine seeding, Smithville dominated its normal division foe Vardaman with a 54-6 win on Friday.
The win snapped a three-game losing streak to the Rams, who won the division last season.

Tyler Hood got the Noles on the board five minutes in with a 21-yard scoring run.
In the second quarter, Drew Lann added a 37-yard TD run, while freshman Dee Moore found the end zone from three yards out.
Hood's 12-yard scoring run at the beginning of the third quarter put the Noles up 28-0.
Vardaman finally got on the board in the third quarter when Brandon Walker hit Quon Cummings for 30-yard TD.
Smithville answered by scoring 19 unanswered points.
Wesley Grier took the ensuing kickoff 80 yards to the house for a score.
Moore added his second TD of the game, breaking loose for a 42-yard score. Lann's 45-yard pick six capped the scoring off.
Smithville returns home to take on Falkner (6-2, 5-0), who sits tied atop Division 1-1A with Coffeeville.
The Noles will travel to county rival Hamilton the next week to wrap up the regular season.
