Player of the Week: Dustin Hall


A player that dedicates even his free time at home to working on his game, Dustin Hall showed out in East Union’s season-opening win at West Union last Saturday, earning him Player of the Week honors.

Hall was a perfect 6-for-6 from three-point range during the first half and finished the game 6-for-8 from behind the arc, 26 points total in the Urchins win over the Eagles.

“He shot the ball very well,” East Union coach Tim McDonald said. “Dustin’s a very hard working young man; one of the best I’ve seen in my coaching career.”

Other standout performances from last week include: Jazmine Spears (New Albany) 26 points versus Alcorn Central; Julianna Garner (West Union) 25 points versus East Union; Reid Little (Ingomar) 22 points versus Wheeler; Henry Foster (Ingomar) 23 points versus Wheeler; LaQuain Foster (Ingomar) 22 points versus Wheeler; Boston Newsome (New Albany) 160 yards and four touchdowns against Indianola Gentry.
