CLARKSDALE - East Union rose from the fourth quarter ashes when the game seemed all but out of reach and forced Coahoma County into overtime before falling 66-65.
Coahoma County appeared to have the game in hand with a 49-38 lead with 2:39 remaining.
With just over a minute left Kallie Roberts showed up and began torching Coahoma County from three point range.
Down 51-41, the Urchins turned to their junior three-point bomber and Roberts didn't disappoint as she drained three consecutive threes to pull the Lady Urchins within three points at 53-50.
The Lady Urchins gained possession with seconds remaining and drove downcourt for the possible tie. Coahoma County covered Roberts, but the Lady Urchins found Callie Frazier open on the wing and she drained a three with four seconds left to send the game into overtime tied 53-all.
Coahoma County took the lead in overtime and never relinquished it. The Lady Urchins pulled within one at 64-63, but East Union fell one point short at the end and was eliminated from the 2A playoffs, ending their season with 19 wins.
Freshman Raelee Bell had a career night, scoring 29 points to lead the Lady Urchins. Roberts finished with 13 points, including connecting on four of seven from three point range.
