Sweet Paradise

Mayor Tim Kent and owner Cole Windham cut the ribbon this past week to formally open Sweet Paradise, accompanied by family, staff and other well-wishers.

The New Albany Main Street Association held a ribbon-cutting ceremony this past Friday for Sweet Paradise, a botique owned by Cole Windham.

The store, at 134 W. Bankhead St. (the former A and W Rentals building), features women’s clothing, jewelry and other accessories, Sand Cloud beach accessories, Swig Life cups and Arbonne nutrition and skin and hair care products.

This makes Windham a third-generation New Albany businessman. His grandparents, Herman and Dorothy Windham, own Windham Appliance, the oldest family-owned business in New Albany, and his parents, Robbie and Teresa Windham, own the Windham Body Shop.

Business hours for Sweet Paradise are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. For information call 62-316-8172.
