The following reports were filed Friday by the Lee County Sheriff's Office and the Tupelo Police Department.
Lee County Sheriff's Office
A Highway 178 Skyline woman said someone took mail out of her mailbox. She thinks it was the female who lives in the trailer behind her.
A Wood Cliff Cove Saltillo woman said someone stole her county-issued garbage can while she took a nap.
A County Road 224 Nettleton man said a 40-year-old female acquaintance came over around 4 p.m. and caused a disturbance. She was intoxicated and drove all over the yard, damaging the grass.
A County Road 1766 Eggville man said someone tried to force their way through his backdoor. The door and door knob were damaged, but it did not appear the person got inside the house.
A County Road 1650 Auburn woman said her 40-year-old daughter has been at her house for a week and she wants her gone. The daughter refused to leave. A check revealed that Booneville had a warrant for the daughter's arrest. She was transported to Baldwyn and turned over to a Booneville police officer.
A 70-year-old County Road 752 Tupelo man said he and his 32-year-old girlfriend started arguing over a previous fight when she told him to come outside. When he did, there was a white male waiting who said he was going to mess him up. A second female then walked up and slashed a tire on his 2012 Honda Accord. He said it was a trap, because all three left in a red truck right after the incident.
A County Road 1349 Mooreville woman said a package was delivered with her mail according to the tracking app. When she got home, the mail was bent like it had been with a package but the box of vaping supplies was not there.
Tupelo Police Department
A woman said she was visiting her boyfriend's mother on Monument Drive. While inside, someone slashed one of the tires on her car. The apartment complex security camera showed the mother of the boyfriend's baby cutting the tire.
A woman said that while she was at work at Danver's, someone entered her SUV and stole $600 and several credit cards from her billfold. Security cameras identified a possible male suspect.
After midnight, a Red Roof Inn employee reported that a female guest broke a glass table out by the pool. She said she broke the table because she was angry. The motel wanted her to leave and not return.
A West Main Walmart employee said someone hit her car in the parking lot. The suspect's vehicle was seen heading to a nearby apartment complex. Police found the car and talked to the driver, who said she did not realize she had damaged the other vehicle.
Police responded to the Motel 6 around 11 a.m. for a call of a man attacking a female inside a room. Two women said a black male started an argument with one of them in the parking lot. When she went to the room to call 911, he followed and forced his way into the room, hitting one woman with the door. He became irate, throwing beer bottles and pushing both women around the room. He left before police arrived.
A woman said while inside Steele's Dive, someone hit her Cadillac DeVille. Security cameras showed a black GMC Yukon back into her car. A white female got out, looked at the damage to the rear tail light of the Cadillac, then drove away.
A South Church Street man said an unknown black male riding a bike started yelling and cursing at him around 4:45 p.m. He said he did not know who the male was or why he would threaten bodily harm. The biker was last see headed north.
A woman said while shopping at the North Gloster Walmart, she set her iPhone 7 plus on a lower shelf so she could reach an item on the top shelf. She forgot the phone and walked away. When she later went back to get the phone, it was missing.
