Roll up your sleeves and polish up your taste buds, the Algoma Crosstie Festival is coming in October.
The seventh annual event will be held Oct. 11, at the park, and the Second Annual Antique and Classic Car Show, on the corner of Front and Holland Streets beside the Seafood Junction) will be held.
The festival is also sponsoring its first Cross-Tie Throw from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.
There will be crafts and flea market booths, food vendors and concession stands. The booths will open at 7 a.m.
Great entertainment will begin at 10 a.m. An auction will be held starting approximately 4 p.m. All proceeds go toward the upkeep of the park.
Join the fun and festivities in Algoma, located off Highway 15 South, one mile down Algoma Road (JCT 772), turn left just over the railroad tracks.
Bring your lawn chairs and stay awhile!
