HOUSTON - Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi Inc. needs help to solve the burglary of the Gregory residence on Chickasaw County Road 100 in Houston.
During the day of Wednesday, May 21, someone broke out a window of the residence of Tony and Melinda Gregory of Houston and entered the home. Once inside, the suspect gathered several pieces of jewelry, appliances and other items.
The suspect also took many collectible dolls, including a 29-inch bride doll, a 22-inch Princess Diana doll and several porcelain dolls.
If anyone has information on someone in the area with a new collection of dolls or anyone trying to sell a collection, call Crime Stoppers.
Crime Stoppers also is looking for a fugitive.
William Phillip Turner, a 30-year-old white male, 5 feet 10 inches, weighing between 180 and 200 pounds, with dark brown hair and "Shirley" tattooed on his upper left arm, is wanted by the Tupelo Police Department's detective division on a charge of statutory rape. He was last seen driving a black pickup with Louisiana tags. Turner has been indicted on a charge of sexual battery.
