The State Health Department reported 84 new COVID-19 cases and five new deaths Saturday morning, bringing the state's total number of deaths to 13 and the total number of cases to 663.
In Northeast Mississippi, Lee County had its first death reported, and a second death was reported in Tippah County.
Tippah now has the with most cases in Northeast Mississippi with 18. Lee County has a total of 17 cases.
The three other deaths were reported Saturday were in Desoto, Perry, and Sunflower counties.
Desoto County still leads the state in known coronavirus cases with 65. Hinds County is second with 58 known cases.
Tippah County has the most known COVID-19 deaths with two.
