Dance class for guys

n TUPELO - The Dance Studio will start a series of classes that will teach men to be dance leaders. The classes will run for eight weeks from 6:15 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday. The cost is $5 per class, plus an additional $25 to the join the Tupelo Ballroom Dance Club. Participants will serve as dance hosts for eight dances. Call (662) 842-2242.

Wild, exotic animal exhibit

n NEW ALBANY - An exhibit of wild and exotic full animal mounts from the collection of the late Chico Foote will be on display though Saturday at the Union County Heritage Museum. Hours are 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday. (662) 538-0014.

Photography exhibit

n FULTON - From Monuments to Mufflers, a photography exhibit detailing Mississippi's unique outdoor sculpture, will be on display through Friday, Jan. 16 in the Learning Resource Center on the ICC campus. Free. Hours are 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Friday; and 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday.

Art exhibit

n TUPELO - Art exhibit, "American Masters of the Mississippi Gulf Coast," featuring the works of George Ohr, Dusti Bonge, Walter Anderson and Richmond Barthe, will be on display today until Thursday, Feb. 26 at the GumTree Museum of Art. Tupelo Police Department

- A man on Sesame Street was charged with careless driving.

- A man was charged with contempt of court.

- A man was charged with failure to yield to the blue lights.

- A man on Clinton Street reported someone stole a cell phone.

Lee County Sheriff's Department

- A woman on Presley Drive reported someone tried to break into her home.

- A County Road 833 resident reported someone was causing a disturbance at her home.

- A woman on County Road 1015 reported someone was making threatening phone calls to her home.
