Patsy Ann Shackleford Montgomery, 67 of Tupelo, MS, made her journey to be with the Lord on June 12, 2019 after a brief illness. She was born on April 17, 1952 to Floyd and Marlene Shackleford of Tupelo. Patsy attended Lawhorn Elementary, Tupelo High School and Itawamba Junior College before marrying Larry Montgomery of Tupelo on June 10, 1972. Her professional career includes a legal secretary, manager of a home-based child care nursery, office manager of an engineering firm and a probation service clerk. Her remaining time was devoted to her family and countless friends. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm (today) Friday, June 14, 2019 at the Holland Funeral Directors, Tupelo, 5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Holland Funeral Directors with Rev. Danny Balint of the First Baptist Church of Plantersville, MS officiating. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Shackleford of Tupelo, her maternal grandparents, Ben and Lula Todd of Nettleton and her paternal grandfather, William Henry Shackleford of Verona. Patsy is survived by her husband of 47 years Larry Montgomery of Tupelo, Chris Montgomery and granddaughters Audrey and Ricki of the home, Ryne Montgomery of Clinton, Bryce and Maggie Montgomery and grandson Novel of Tupelo. Patsy also leaves behind a large extended family as well as numerous friends and associated. Condolences may be registered at www.hollandfuneral directors.com.
