Funeral services for Leroy Wesley Worsham, 100, are scheduled for Tuesday at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church with burial and military honors to follow at Henry Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McPeters Funeral Directors. Leroy died on March 30, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Corinth on November 14, 1918 to the late Ben Frank Sr. and Helen Boone Worsham. He was a 1936 graduate of Corinth High School and obtained his degree from University of Mississippi in 1940. Leroy served in the U.S. Army from August of 1943 to January of 1945 and from January 1945 to October of 1946, he served in the U.S. Air Force. He co-founded Worsham Brothers Construction Company with his brothers, Frank and Clifford. He served as a member of the Corinth School Board for several years and was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his daughters, Jan Wood (Walker) of Corinth and Sally Sharlow of Ocean Springs; grandchildren, Jim Wood (Jenny) of French Camp, Emily Cadle (Nick) of Clinton and Burton Rabby (Norma) of Birmingham; great-grandchildren, Hayes Wood, Halea Wood, Sadie Kate Wood, Claire Cadle, Jake Cadle and Oliver Rabby. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Biggers Worsham; brothers, Frank and Clifford Worsham and son-in-law, Jeff Sharlow. Pallbearers will be Jim Wood, Nick Cadle, Burton Rabby, Jodie Criswell, Ronnie Wilmeth, Sam Kemp, John Burnett, Hank Leonard, Hayden Worsham, Chuck Reece and Lon Taylor III.
