Jack Abraham and the Oxford Chargers stayed hot on offense. The latest victim, the New Hope Trojans, who lost 46-12 Friday night. Abraham threw seven touchdowns in the win, with all of them coming in the first half.<>

The Chargers improved to 6-2 overall by winning their fifth straight game overall. They are now 4-0 in 1-5A play, with a home game with Clarksdale up next.

Abraham was 18-for-24 for 334 yards in the first half. The Chargers were up 20-0 on the Trojans with less than six minutes off the clock. Abraham threw three touchdowns to Ken Presley, and two to DK Metcalf. He also threw one each to Hiram Wadlington and Jimmy Greaser. His fifth touchdown of the night was his 100th during his career.

It was the fourth straight blowout of a division opponent for the Chargers, who have scored at least 46 points in all four of those contests.
