Pontotoc County Sheriff Leo Mask said Chewe is charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, possession of a weapon by a felon and two counts of possession of a controlled substance in connection with Judon’s murder investigation.
Also arrested and charged in connection with the murder investigation is Willie Dale Davidson, 30, of the same Owen Bend Road address, Sheriff Mask said.
Sheriff Mask said Davidson is charged with conspiracy to committ murder.
Judge Harrison set Davidson’s bond at $500,000.
Sheriff Mask said Chewe told him that she and Davidson are husband and wife, but don’t share the last name.
Mask said they responded to a call of a shooting around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at 103 Owen Bend Road, where they discovered Justin Judon had been shot and killed.
Sheriff Mask declined to comment on the connection between the victim and the two suspects pending completion of the investigation, which includes lengthy phone records.
