Three Mississippi State players were honored as All-Americans by Baseball America on Monday.
Junior pitcher Ethan Small was named to the first team posting a 10-2 record along with a 1.76 earned run average and a nation-leading 168 strikeouts in 102 innings.
Senior center fielder Jake Mangum was selected to the second team, currently hitting a team-best .355 with 103 hits and 22 doubles on the year. Sophomore second baseman Justin Foscue was picked as a member of the third team batting .338 with 22 doubles, 14 home runs and 59 RBIs.
Southern Miss junior outfielder Matt Wallner was also a first team selection hitting .323 with 23 homers and 60 RBIs.
