Mississippi State safety Brian Cole will play in the Senior Bowl in January. 

Mississippi State safety Brian Cole will represent the Bulldogs at the Senior Bowl on Jan. 25 at 1:30 p.m. at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama and televised on NFL Network.

Cole has started all nine games this season and notched 49 tackles, seven tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, three pass deflections, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder from Saginaw, Michigan has started 13 of 14 games at MSU the past two seasons after stops at Michigan and East Mississippi Community College to start his career.

Cole is the 95th Bulldog to be selected to the Senior Bowl following last year’s participants Johnathan Abram, Gerri Green, Elgton Jenkins and Montez Sweat.
