The Diamond Dogs were not the only team on Mississippi State’s campus to score a win on Friday.
Joe Moorhead and the football team landed highly touted wide receiver transfer Isaiah Zuber from Kansas State. Zuber is a graduate transfer and will be eligible to play for the Bulldogs immediately.
The 6-foot, 186-pounder from Stone Mountain, Georgia, appeared in 38 games and made 20 starts for the Wildcats over the past three seasons. Zuber has 127 career catches for 1,321 yards and 11 touchdowns and led K-State with 52 receptions for 619 yards and five TDs last fall.
Zuber was also the Wildcats’ primary punt and kickoff returner and returned a punt 85-yards for a score against South Dakota in the 2018 opener.
Zuber will face his former team when the Wildcats visit Starkville on Sept. 14. He had two catches for 11 yards when MSU won 31-10 in Manhattan last year.
