MVP: Konnor Pilkington pitched eight shutout innings to win Friday’s game at Georgia. It was a bounce-back outing for the sophomore left-hander from Hurley, who scattered four hits with seven strikeouts and four walks.

Pilkington improved to 6-4 on the year with a 3.44 earned run average, 91 strikeouts and 35 walks in 81 innings of work on the year. He is tied for fifth in the SEC in strikeouts and opposing batters are hitting just .197 against him.
