The only team to win series in Fayetteville dating back to 2017 is Ole Miss (40-25, 16-14). The Rebels have done it twice.
And if they want to reach Omaha for a second time under Mike Bianco's watch, they'll have to beat Arkansas (44-17, 20-10) at Baum-Walker stadium again this weekend.
- When the Rebels and Hogs met during the regular season, on the final weekend of March, Ole Miss grabbed the final two games of the series to leave Fayetteville with a boost of confidence.
- Then there were an additional two meetings in the SEC tournament, one which Arkansas took and the second which the Rebels won.
- All in all, Ole Miss has lost to the Hogs with Will Ethridge and Zack Phillips on the mound. They have won when Doug Nikhazy and Gunnar Hoglund(twice) made starts.
Ole Miss is 10-13 on the road this season. That includes their 2-1 mark in Fayetteville.
Arkansas is 31-6 at home.
While weather has been on the radar as a potential concern during the buildup to this weekend's matchup, things appear to have cleared up.
