CLINTON— Saturday, Blue Mountain College had three runners in the top 10 and the Lady Toppers finished second in the Choctaw Open. BMC’s men finished fifth in the cross-country race hosted by Mississippi College.

Kelsea Posadas (Alcorn Central) ran an 18:48 5,000-meter time to lead the Lady Toppers and finished second behind Brittany Alexander (18:44) of Rhodes College in the non-Division 1 competition. Posadas finished fourth overall in the 128-runner field.

Joining Posadas in the top 10 were Page Rowland (Ripley) (19:45) in seventh place and Hannah Orrick (Lexington, Ky.)  (20:04) in ninth.
